Expedition manager, work planner

As an expedition manager, you are responsible for the proper receipt of incoming goods. Your goal is to check, measure, count, ... and ultimately approve or reject all incoming goods. You are responsible for assigning these parts to the correct projects or into stock. You need to ensure that all parts have undergone all the necessary finishing processes. Some parts will need to be finished internally (tapped, deburred, etc.) and you are responsible for seeing that this work is complete. Others need the be prepared, packed and loaded to be sent to supplies for finishing (welding, pearl-blasting, etc.). You will assess which parts need which processes and where they need to be assigned based on the order lists and 3D drawings of the projects.
As a warehouse manager you will responsible for keeping our stock appropriately filled and ensuring each project has the correct parts in the correct amounts. Together with the buyer, you ensure that all parts are in the right place at the right time. This is a small part of the function.
This function can be expanded to include the assembly of small sub-assemblies as well as more expansive warehouse and stock management.
In principle, you will always be working at the company’s main facility.
